2006 Playoff Baseball
 King of the Jungle

Chris Espinoza was the King of the Jungle in 2006. Chris opened up a nice lead early on in the finals and cruised form there. Chris makes it back to back champs from the state of Illinois as he follows Mike Kizman who won it all in 2005.

We interviewed Chris and here is what he had to say:

FJ: Well congratulations first off, you had a great season. Where are you from?

CE: Decatur IL

FJ: Did you go to college, and how old are you?

CE: Never went to college. I am 30 years old.

FJ:
What do you do for a living?

CE: I own an Electronic Contract Manufacturing Company.

FJ: How did you hear about the Fantasy Jungle?

CE: From my best friend Ryan Coffey. (Ryan won it all in baseball the first season)

FJ: How long have you been playing fantasy football?

CE: About Three years.

FJ: Who are your favorite teams?

CE: The Eagles and the Colts.

FJ: Are you a fantasy football specialist, or do you play other fantasy games?

CE: I am not a fantasy specialist at all. I was very lucky with a little bit of skill!

FJ: What was your draft strategy for the Jungle?

CE: I tried to take what I thought was the best available player that fit the mold of my team, in each round I picked.

FJ: Who were some of your best players?

CE: L.T., Starvin Marvin, T.O., and the Great Dayne put us over the edge!

FJ: When did you realize that you had a team that had a chance to win the title?

CE: Right after the draft.

FJ: How much did team management throughout the season contribute to your success, i.e. the free agent wire?

CE: It played a big roll on the off weeks of our key players. In addition, when players were injured it was huge!

FJ: What is a usual setup like for you on an NFL Sunday?

CE: Four TV's going - Laptop running the scoreboard - Phone call back in forth to friends.

FJ: What aspect of the Fantasy Jungle did you like the most?

CE: The draft has always been my favorite. It's like going to Vegas and playing craps!

FJ: Would you recommend the Fantasy Jungle to anyone, and what are your thoughts on it?

CE: I have recommended the jungle to several people and will have 4 new friends playing this year. I think the Jungle is run by some great guys and is the best fantasy football program out there!

FJ: Lastly, and most importantly, what do you plan to do with your prize winnings?

CE: I'm going to Vegas Baby!!!!!!!!!
