Satellite Football FAQs
- The draft runs on all Windows based systems: Windows, Windows XP, etc. If you
have a Macintosh, it IS NOT Safari compatible, so you need to download Firefox.
- Weekend Satellites start at 3PM E.S.T.
- Weekday Satellites start at 9PM E.S.T.
- The draft's optimum resolution is 1024 x 768, however it supports any
resolution. A smaller resolution will cause some previous rounds to be hidden,
but you are able to expand them again by clicking the plus symbol next to "Prev.
Rnds".
- You will have 1:30 to make each pick once you are on the clock. If your pick
isn't made in 1:30, an autopick will be made for you based on the highest rated
player in the FJ rankings.
** For SLOW DRAFTS, each team will have a clock of 12 hours to make their
selection once it is their pick. This doesn't mean you have to take all 12
hours, please check back thru the day, but it is designed to extend over several
days for those drafters who can't make the normal times of the other drafts, and
it is 12 hours so you won't miss a pick while sleeping. If you haven't made your
selection in 12 hours, you will be auto picked for. In the unlikely event, the
draft is not finished by Sept 2nd at 9:00 PM EST, the clock will be reset to 2
minutes per team for each pick, and we will complete the draft at that time. **
- To draft your player, you just need to move them into your draft queue, and
when you are on the clock, a button will become active that allows you to draft
your player.
- You may log in to the draft room before the draft starts and pre rank your
players. You can search by position, name, or statistical categories. Just click
on the name or stat and it will order the players from either A-Z, or most to
least. There is also a search bar that will automatically call the name of the
player you are looking for. Remember to move the drop down menu bar to the
correct position of the player you are searching for. For example, if you type
in Vince, it will call up Vince Young, however it needs to be set to QB to find
him.
- If your mock freezes up, or you see the draft stopped, hit the "refresh draft"
button. The clock at the top will always be running, so if you see that it is
not, you need to hit refresh.
- The draft is 20 rounds (22 rounds for the Jungle Masters). After the draft is
complete, we will transfer the results to your league page where you will access
stats, standings, free agent bids, and everything you need for the season. All
you need to do is log in and click on your team, and it will take you there.
Give us some time after the drafts are completed to transfer the information
from the draft room to your stats pages. We will have it up as fast as possible.
