Mock Draft Frequently Asked Questions

- The mock draft is a simulator that can work whether there is only one person drafting, or whether there are 12. Obviously the more real humans, the better and more realistic the draft will be, however the simulator is programmed smartly with up to date rankings to give you a realistic feel in the event there are less then 12 mockers in there for any given draft.

- You will have 1:00 to make each pick. All computer run teams will pick within 20 seconds so you don't have to wait if you are the only person mocking. If your pick isn't made in 2:00, it will pick for you automatically.

- The mock is 10 rounds long.

- Auto Pick is turned on in the event someone gets disconnected (During the real draft, auto pick will be disabled in the event you have an emergency so your pick isn't made automatically for you)

- If you signed up for a mock, please make sure you show up and please don't leave early. For example, don't do 3 rounds and then leave for the last 7 as it will show as your team being run by you and will run 2:00 for every pick you are gone instead of the 20 seconds it would be set to if it was a computerized team.

- The mock should run on all Windows based systems, Windows, Windows XP, etc. If you have a Macintosh, it is not Safari capable, so you need to download Firefox.

- The draft's optimum resolution is 1024 x 768, however it supports any resolution. A smaller resolution will cause some previous rounds to be hidden, but you are able to expand them again by clicking the plus symbol next to "Prev. Rnds".

- You may log in to the draft room before the draft starts and pre rank your players. You can search by position. You may search by last name, or any of the statistics. Just click on the name or stat and it will order the players from most to least. There is also a search bar that will automatically call the name of the player you are looking for. Remember to move the bar to the correct position. For example, if you type in Vince, it will call up Vince Young, however it needs to be set to QB to auto find him.

- To draft a player, you need to move him to your draft queue. When its your turn to draft, there will be a bar beside the player that says "Draft Player". This is how you make your pick.

- In your player queue of pre ranked players, you can sort by position, team, player. This is a nice function because if you have 10 QBs, 10 WRs, and 8 RBs in the queue, just sort by position and they will all be listed together.

- If your mock freezes up, or you see the draft stopped, hit the "refresh draft" button.

- All mocks aren't moderated so if there is a problem or you have comments after the mock, please e mail us at customer support so we can fix any problems. For example, if the clock isn't working for your draft, e mail us so we can fix it or see why you had that problem.

-If you have a slower connection you may want to consider clicking one of the "Hide Images" links above the pictures in the draft board. Hiding these images will make the draft board load faster.

-If you have a smaller screen size, you will not be able to view all 10 rounds at the same time. To view rounds which are hidden you must click the plus symbol (+) next to "Prev Rnds" in the top of the draft board, just under the FJ logo.
